This article is about setting up the Starlink device. This is useful when using 3DMG/3DMC and SC Fleet in remote location where there is no network available.
For Standard (Residential) type
1. Install all necessary parts of the kit from the box as per installation procedure. For standard version, visit this link: https://www.starlink.com/public-files/specification_sheet_standard.pdf
2. Make sure to place the router in an open sky where there is at least 110 degrees field of view to ensure maximum reception.
3. Plug in the installed kit to the power supply AC (100-240V, 2.5A. 50-60 Hz).
4. In case there is no power source available such as remote site, a solar power station can be use as alternative source. Also, it can be used to power the base station as well. Make sure the power
5. After turning the power ON, the Starlink device is ready to be used.
For Mini (mobile) type
1. Install all necessary parts of the kit from the box as per installation procedure. For standard version, visit this link: Mini_Install Guide_072924
2. Make sure to place the router in an open sky where there is at least 110 degrees field of view to ensure maximum reception. Same as the standard version.
3. Plug in the installed kit to the power supply AC (100-240V, 2.5A. 50-60 Hz).
4. In case there is no power source in the site or machine, you can use DC power source. Make sure power supply can accommodate up to 60W of power consumption.
5. After turning the power ON, the Starlink mini is ready to be used.
